Glynis was appointed head of music at Onslow comprehensive school Hatfield where I was teaching. She was married to John Green at that time but soon became divorced. She was so lovely - green eyed, raven haired. Much too attractive to remain single. Phil Saunders soon fell under her spell and they enjoyed a few happy years of married life. Sadly Phil wanted a cosy, wife-at-home, dinner on the table, slippers by the fire type of marriage which Glynis wasn't ready for. Divorce followed. Glynis was always a free spirit - never to be tamed. Wild, adventurous ever searching. We married. Shared amazing happiness. She endured hours of sea-sickness on my boat! I'm honoured that she wanted children and hope that both grow to be like her. Vicky plays piano and alto saxophone and is currently attempting harp. Matt plays drums,lead/bass guitar and has taken up tenor sax. His band - JCQ Quintet - has produced their first album "That was then - This is now" This is her legacy.
